License BUDS Megatech

The Megatech license for BUDS (BRP Utility and Diagnostic Software) is the highest level of access for the first-generation BUDS platform. It is designed for advanced configuration of electronic modules on BRP vehicles manufactured between 1996 and 2016.

This license is not available to official BRP dealers and distributors — it unlocks engineering-level functions that go far beyond standard dealer access.

What this license allows you to do:

• Change VIN and Model numbers (useful after ECU replacement or reprogramming).
• View module history in hours, not just percentages.
• Enable or disable DESS (start the vehicle with any key, except Roadster Spyder).
• Change the DESS key type in two clicks (normal, learning, rental).
• Clear ECM/MPEM history (useful after replacing or reprogramming).
• Reset ECM, MPEM and Cluster "As new" (including total vehicle hours on 4-TEC Sea-Doo PWC).
• Change Total Vehicle Hours on Sea-Doo (Bosch ECU).
• View extended information blocks.
• Edit curves for 2-Stroke Sea-Doo PWC.
• Edit injector coefficient for E-TEC Ski-Doo.
• Enable or disable vehicle options, modules and sensors.
• Increase Spark 60hp power up to 90hp.

License term:

• This license is valid for 10 years from the date of activation. You do not need to renew it every year.
• After the 10-year period, you can extend or renew your license if needed. Just contact us.
• After payment you receive a license certificate by email.

Important before you buy:

• This license is for the original BUDS software (vehicles 1996–2016). For 2017+ models, please check our BUDS3 licenses.
